West Point, Ga. – Blue Mountain Christian Men's Soccer remained unbeaten in SSAC play Saturday, battling Point University to a 1-1 draw on the road.
The Toppers moved to 3-1-2 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play with the result.
BMCU struck first in the 25th minute.

Guilherme Aguiar, who found the back of the net at the 24:36 mark to give the Toppers a 1-0 advantage.
Point answered less than two minutes later. Joao Fernandes scored off an assist from Kevin Richards at 26:31 to level the match at one.
The score remained tied heading into halftime, setting up a defensive battle over the final 45 minutes.
Point put two shots on goal in the second half, but BMCU goalkeeper
Luan Nascimento turned away both attempts to keep the Skyhawks off the board.
The Toppers generated three shots and earned all three of their corner kicks after halftime but were unable to find the go-ahead goal as the two sides finished level at 1-1.
Nascimento played all 90 minutes in goal and finished with two saves.
BMCU finished with six shots in the match, while Point recorded eight. The Skyhawks held a 3-1 advantage in shots on goal and a narrow 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
The draw gives the Toppers four points through their first two SSAC matches of the season.
