In the opener, BMCU set the tone early with two runs in the first inning and added two more in the third to secure a 4-0 shutout.

Neely Cooper was steady in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout. Cooper worked all seven innings, allowing just five hits while keeping Williams Baptist off the scoreboard to secure the win.
