Blue Mountain, Miss.- The Toppers and Nighthawks battled back and forth in a tight SSAC matchup, ending in a scoreless 0-0 tie.
Both defenses held strong throughout the contest, with the two sides combining for 10 shots on goal. Yalin Alici led the Topper attack with three shots of his own, while freshman goalkeeper Luan Nascimento continued his stellar start to the season by recording five saves.
With the result, the Toppers remain undefeated in conference play and now turn their focus to Thursday's road test against the Mobile Rams in Mobile, Alabama.
