BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – GAME 3 – Mobile completed the sweep of Blue Mountain here in the three-game SSAC series, winning Game 3 by a score of 10-9.
The Rams would get two in the second inning on a two-run single by Bryce Eddington and in the third a two-run double by Jaron Harris to make it 4-0.
The Toppers would hit the board in the bottom of the third, as 
Hayden Redding singled in 
Austin Garrison and 
Jacob Bryant singled in Redding to make it 4-2.
Mobile would make it 5-2 in the fourth on a fielder's choice to short, but the Toppers would get another run in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single from 
Josiah Rivera to make it 5-3.
In the sixth, Blue Mountain continued to chip away as 
Jacob Bryant drove an RBI single through the left side, making it a one-run game.
Mobile would get two more in the top of the seventh, but the Toppers answered with two of their own in the bottom half on a fielder's choice and an error to make it 7-6.
In the top of the eighth, the Rams added two more to take a 9-6 lead.
In the bottom of the inning, the Toppers continued to fight back, getting a two-run single from 
Carson Gault and an RBI single from 
Ross Polizzi to tie the game at 9-9.
Mobile would regain the lead in the top of the ninth with an RBI single by Cameron Brock.
Bryant and Polizzi led the way for BMCU with three hits each, while Gault and 
Chris Smith both had a pair of hits.
Rey Castaneda suffered the loss for the Toppers in relief, tossing an inning, giving up a run on a hit with a K.
BMCU (19-22, 10-14 SSAC) returns to action Tuesday in non-conference play against Williams Baptist in Blue Mountain at 2 and 4:30 p.m.
