Walnut Ridge, Ark.- BMCU traveled to Williams Baptist for a nine-inning game on Tuesday afternoon and came away victorious in a late game thriller.
Drew Newman had an impressive outing starting on the mound for the Toppers. He went 8 innings while only giving up two runs on two hits.
The Toppers, offensively, were loud in the first inning, scoring four runs behind a fielder's choice, two walks, and a sac fly.
The Eagles scored their first run of the game in the fifth inning, scoring on an error to make it 4-1.
Everything fell silent until the ninth inning, where the Eagles had bases loaded. 
With no outs in the inning, the Eagles drove three runs off a fielder's choice and a base hit into center field.
Michael Lorenz was able to work out of the jam and keep the game going into extra innings.
In the top of the tenth, Rivera came up big for the Toppers to score Hayden Redding to untie the game at 5-4.
Gault added some insurance runs as well with a double to left field, making the score 7-4.
In the bottom of the tenth, the Eagles plated two runs off a sac fly and a ground out, but Lorenz was to stop their momentum and win the game for the Toppers.
BMCU will travel this weekend to Lawrenceville, Georgia to play Georgia Gwinnett College to play a non-conference three game series.
