New Orleans, La.- BMCU had five players hit the double-digit scoring mark against, conference foe, Loyola University.
For the first ten minutes of the first half, it was a back-and-forth scoring affair, but from that point on, the Toppers rallied to take the lead until the end.
Jason Hunt had an outlandish first half performance with twenty points.
Ikechi Ajukwa was solid with six points and three rebounds to go along with Hunt.
BMCU took a thirteen-point lead into halftime.
A host of Toppers kept scoring going in the second half.
Bryan Maxey had ten points and three rebounds.
Douglas Vincent score nine points from behind the arc and grabbed three rebounds.
Jalen Boyd-Savage added eight points, and Ikechi got his total to thirteen points in the second half. 
The Toppers shot fifty percent from three and forty-eight percent from field goals in the game.
It was a clean game in the turnover department for both teams, but BMCU held Loyola to just thirteen percent from three-point range.
The Toppers will look to continue their scoring spree against Mobile at noon on Saturday.
