Clinton, Miss.- BMCU fell to five wins and four losses on the year with a loss on Monday afternoon to Mississippi College.
The Choctaws had the bats going in their victory with fifteen hits in the game.
Jordan Evans went three for five with two doubles in an impressive performance at the plate against the Toppers pitching staff.
BMCU had eight hits in the ball game but left seven runners on base.
For the Toppers, Ty Roberson, was solid at the plate going two for three.
Carson Gault scored on a sacrifice fly hit to right field by Austin Garrison.
The starter for the Choctaws was Taylor Ballard and got the win in the game pitching two and one-third's innings.
The Toppers will travel to Cochran, Georgia to play their first conference series on Friday against Middle Georgia.
