BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – Blue Mountain Women picked up another victory over Central Baptist on the season here Thursday, defeating the Mustangs 72-50.
Maddie Kirk led the way with a double-double, dropping 14 points and securing 11 rebounds for the Lady Toppers.
McKenzie Williams chipped in 14 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double with nine.
Kathryn Echols and Rebecca Walter both added 13 points each the victory for BMCU.  Echols would also have eight boards.
The Topper defense would hold the Mustangs to just 31 percent shooting and forced 17 turnovers on the evening.
Blue Mountain's bench would turn in 23 points in the victory, while securing 20 fast break points.
The Toppers would score 34 points in the paint, and 22 points off CBC turnovers.
BMCU (3-1) returns to action Saturday in Blue Mountain, hosting Tougaloo with tip set for 2 p.m. CT.
