Blue Mountain, Miss.- The Volley Toppers delivered a commanding performance in their sweep over SSAC foe Point University.
BMCU's offensive attack combined for 47 kills in the match, highlighted by several standout double-digit efforts.
Valeria Velez and
Marissa Gerleman led the charge with 11 kills apiece. Velez posted a remarkable .647 hitting percentage, while Gerleman was nearly as efficient with a .625 mark.
Rachel Stegall and
Salice Speed also found their rhythm from the outside, each tallying 10 kills. Stegall swung for an impressive .500, and Speed followed with a sharp .350.
Once again,
Reanna Brown proved crucial from her setter position, dishing out 24 assists to guide the Topper offense.
Defensively, the front line held firm, combining for eight blocks as a team.
Caleigh Grace Turpin and Stegall each contributed a pair of block assists.

Kora Wilson still made its mark — Wilson finished with 16 digs on the night.
