Marietta, Ga.- The Toppers traveled to Marietta, Georgia, for an evening SSAC matchup against the Life Running Eagles, falling 3-0.
It was a clash between two of the top teams in the conference standings, with Life entering the contest undefeated on the season. 
BMCU had several chances in the first half to break through, but the Running Eagles' defense held strong against the Topper attack.
Life scored all three of its goals in the opening half but was kept quiet in the second, as the Toppers settled in defensively and limited opportunities.
BMCU will look to bounce back at home this Saturday in a marquee matchup against defending national champions Dalton State.
