The Lady Toppers Score Over One-Hundred Points Again in Victory Over Nighthawks

Blue Mountain, Miss.- The lady Toppers continued their scoring prowess tonight versus conference opponent, the Nighthawks of Thomas University.
The lady Toppers got out to a quick start against the Nighthawks with an unearthly field goal percentage of sixty-five percent from the field in the first quarter.
Maddie Kirk was dominant in the first quarter of the game with twelve points and a steal.
Charnita Brooks and Crystin Guy combined for thirteen points in the first quarter of play as well.
It gave the immovable object that is the lady Toppers offense, a twenty-four-point lead after one quarter of action.
The consistency of BMCU continued in the second quarter with twenty-seven points scored.
The lady Toppers played stout defensively as they grabbed five steals, in turn widening the score margin at halftime by thirty-five points.
Brooks turned into a three-point machine to start the second half with nine points from behind the arc.
McKenzie Williams scored six points and grabbed three rebounds to go along with her in the quarter.
Lindsey Murr had a fantastic fourth quarter scoring eleven points to keep the route going in dominating style.
By the final buzzer, BMCU had continued their streak to four games now in which they scored over one-hundred points.
A whopping seven lady Toppers finished with double-digits in scoring. Two of them had double-doubles.
Isabella Carlson was an offensive machine. Carlson generated a double-double performance of ten assists and ten points.
McKenzie Williams continues to shine as a freshman with thirteen points and eleven rebounds in the game.
Kirk was lights out on both sides of the court with eighteen points and six steals.
Brooks made the Nighthawks restless with eighteen points and four rebounds.
Murr continued to be hot handed with eighteen points as well.
The always consistent scorer, Guy, had fourteen points.
Kathryn Echols continues to be a consistent threat for BMCU. She put up twelve points.
The lady Toppers will continue their hot streak against Middle Georgia on Saturday at Tyler Gym at 12:00 pm.
