TIFTON, Ga. – Blue Mountain Christian Women turned up the heat in SSAC play here Saturday, ousting Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College 103-65.
The clock-busting performance was highlighted by five double-figure scoring outings, with
McKenzie Williams leading the way with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Deja Pryor hit for 16 points, while
Mia Jones had 14 and
Rebecca Walter and
Lindsey Murr both contributing 13 in the win.
BMCU's long-range shooting was on full display, as the 15 of their 38 threes went down, with Pryor hitting four and Murr connecting on three.
A 52.2 shooting percentage from the field for Blue Mountain didn't hurt either, as Williams was 5-for-5 from the floor and Walter was 5-of-7.
Blue Mountain had their way on the boards also, outrebounding ABAC 49-42.
The Lady Toppers (10-8, 3-6 SSAC) now ride a two-game win streak into its final non-conference game of the season, a matchup against Oakwood Monday, January 27 in Blue Mountain at 5:30 p.m. CT.
