Mia Jones was right behind her with four points of her own.
BMCU went into halftime with a sizeable lead of twenty-one points.
The second was not much different for the lady Toppers.
Walter had seven points and three rebounds down in the paint, while Brooks hit two threes from the outside to keep the momentum churning for BMCU in the third quarter.
The lady Toppers never gave up ground throughout the game defensively as they had eight steals just in the fourth quarter.
Dominique Collins had three of those steals and scored seven points as well in the quarter.
In the end, Walter led the team in scoring with fourteen points.
Brooks just behind Walter with twelve points.
It was a well-rounded game for BMCU and gives them some momentum going into next week's game in Hattiesburg against conference foe William Carey.
