Blue Mountain, Miss.- BMCU went five sets with Xavier University Tuesday evening and came out with a defiant win.
Rae Ann Hall had a remarkable career high game for the Toppers with nineteen kills and three aces to go along with it.
Olivia Ashton had an outstanding game as well with fifteen kills of her own.
Defensively the Volley Toppers had great individual efforts from
Kaytie Rutland and Amber El Rhaffouli. They both had five blocks in the game.
Peyton Kidd did not have a slouch game of her own. She put up a double double with twenty-two assists and twelve digs.
Kora Wilson and
Kerianna Collins did a tremendous job on the back end defensively for BMCU as they both had seventeen digs.
Jaiyah Jackson and Collins had four aces in the match. BMCU had fourteen service aces which helped them endure until the end.
The Volley Toppers will be back in action Friday night in Tyler Gymnasium at 6:00 pm.
