Montgomery, Ala.- Blue Mountain Christian softball standout Aspen Teague has been named the SSAC Softball Player of the Week following an outstanding stretch at the plate that helped lead the Toppers to a strong week of competition.
Teague delivered a dominant performance across four games, batting .588 while driving in seven runs. 
She tallied 14 total bases on the week, highlighted by two triples and two separate four-hit performances, consistently setting the tone for the Toppers' offense. 
Her efforts helped Blue Mountain Christian secure a win over Bethel (TN) and earn a split against No. 25 UT Southern.
This marks the first weekly conference honor of Teague's career, adding to what has already been an impressive season for the Topper first baseman.
Head Coach Matt Brunet praised Teague's impact both on and off the field.
"Aspen is the ultimate team player and has been clutch for us all season," Brunet said. "She's always willing to do what's best for the team and has been a leader on offense and defense. I'm very proud of everything she's accomplished this year."
Teague's consistency and leadership continue to be a driving force for the Toppers as they push deeper into the season.
