Paragould, Ark.- Blue Mountain Christian continued its remarkable start to the 2025–26 season on Thursday with a dominant doubleheader sweep, pushing the Toppers to 17–0 and further cementing what has already become a historic opening stretch.

In the opener, the Toppers seized momentum right away, erupting in the first inning behind a grand slam by
Karen Wisher that opened the game and energized the dugout.
Blue Mountain Christian continued to apply pressure offensively, adding runs in the middle innings and finishing with 11 runs on 11 hits.
Anna Harrison delivered key run-producing at-bats, while
Aspen Teague,
Mikaylah Fuqua, and
Kelsey Camp consistently moved runners and extended innings.
In the circle,
Madison Montgomery delivered a composed performance, working five strong innings while allowing just three hits and striking out seven.
Crowley's Ridge was able to push across two runs, but BMCU's early surge and clean defensive play kept the game firmly in the Toppers' favor.
The second game followed a similar script as Blue Mountain Christian once again struck early and never relinquished control.
The Toppers scored in each of the first two innings before breaking the game open in the middle frames, ultimately securing a 9–1 victory. Power remained a factor, as
Kelsey Camp and
Bre Ramsey each homered, while
Gail Wisher drove in two more runs with a well-placed double. The lineup stayed aggressive and efficient throughout, turning quality at-bats into sustained scoring opportunities.
Bri Langley anchored the effort in the circle, allowing just one run on five hits across five innings while keeping opposing hitters off balance.
By the end of the day, Blue Mountain Christian had outscored its opponent 20–3, combining explosive offense with steady pitching and confident defensive play.
With contributions spread throughout the lineup and momentum continuing to build, the Toppers walked away from the doubleheader unbeaten once again.
