Phoenix Classic 24 day two

BMCU Volleyball Goes Undefeated in Phoenix Classic

Box Score Lebanon, Tenn.- BMCU went undefeated in day two of the Phoenix Classic after a canceled game against Ave Maria University and a win versus Cumberland University.
Helen Roy, a freshman, lead the team in kills in the match with eleven, and Ashton was right behind her with nine kills.
Peyton Kidd had fourteen assists in the game for the Volley Toppers, and Oliver had eleven.
They had great defensive showings from the always reliable Jaiyah Jackson and Rae Ann Hall.
BMCU is starting the 2024 season hot just like in past years.
Coach Gann said, "I am proud of our performance versus a competitive Cumberland team. We were efficient on offense, and our blockers were able to limit a couple of their big-time hitters. There is plenty of room for improvement, but I am overall pleased with our opening weekend. The Toppers will be back in action in Milligan, Tennessee next weekend for the Milligan Mountain Madness.
