McKenzie, Tenn.- BMCU won a rematch game against Southeastern Baptist College on Saturday afternoon by forty-one points.
The Toppers have had impressive performances offensively the past few games and this afternoon was no different.
BMCU turned the ball over offensively only five times. The turnover margin in the game was five to twenty. This is a huge differential and often leads to larger margin of victories.
Leo Lin and Jason hunt both led the team in steals with three each, but there were many Toppers who ended up with at least one steal in the stat sheet.
The Toppers had an impressive fifteen offensive rebounds as a team and thirty-nine rebounds collectively in the game.
David Mbaye led the team in rebounds with eight, and he had thirteen points to go along with it.
Hunt has led the Toppers in scoring every game so far this year and tonight was no different. He had fifteen points.
There was not a player on the roster on the roster for BMCU who went scoreless in the game.
Forty-one points came off the bench for the Toppers, and thirty-one points came from the twenty turnovers the toppers forced.
Momentum is heading in the right direction for the Toppers as they start conference play next week at Tyler Gymnasium against the always competitive William Carey Crusaders at 7:30 pm on Thursday night.
