West Point, Ga.- The Toppers faced off against Point University in an SSAC matchup to start the road trip to Georgia this week.
The Toppers put up twenty-seven points in the first half with Jason scoring eight of those points.
The Toppers were in front most of the half until the final few minutes where the lead started to change. It ended up being a four-point lead for the Skyhawks going into half time.
The Skyhawks got into a rhythm quickly in the second half and never looked back. They scored fifty-two points in the second half.
The Toppers had trouble shooting from behind the arc going just six for twenty-three in the game.
Ray Witt Jr. put up eleven points in the second half, but it was not enough to jump start a momentum swing in the second half.
Hunt led the team in scoring with fourteen and Ray Witt Jr. was right behind him with thirteen points of his own.
Bryan Maxey put up eight points for the Toppers as well.
BMCU will be back in action at 2:00 pm CT versus the Life University Running Eagles.
