Blue Mountain, Miss.- BMCU lost a close game against the fourteenth ranked team Central Baptist.
The Toppers went back and forth with CBC in a game where no team led by a wide margin at any point.
A newcomer for the Toppers,
Jules Teboul, created some tough shots with a chance of making it three-point plays. He had sixteen points in the game.
Another new addition to the Topper basketball team,
Jason Hunt, led BMCU with seventeen points in the game. Hunt got into foul trouble early in the game which makes his scoring ability even more impressive.
The sharpshooter,
Vincent Douglas, was consistent a threat from three for the Toppers. He shot fifty percent from the three and had a total of sixteen points in the game.
The senior transfer,
Bryan Maxey, also had sixteen points.
Free throws destroyed momentum in the game for BMCU. They shot sixty percent from the free throw line as a team. Which made it feel like a definite winnable game for the Toppers.
The Toppers will be back in action November 2
nd at 3:00 PM against Southeastern Baptist in Tyler Gymnasium.
