HENDERSON, Tenn. – (RV) Blue Mountain Christian couldn't get the offense going Tuesday in a non-conference, nine-inning affair against (RV) Freed-Hardeman, falling 6-2 across the state line.
The Lions got a big day from Sean Rooney, as he drove in four runs on two hits.
Rooney started the day by driving in two with a double to right in the first against Blue Mountain starter
Shaine O'Keefe.
He followed that up with an RBI single in the second, and in the fourth, drove in another on a fielder's choice.
Austin Beech gave the Toppers their first run on the day with a solo homer to right in the top of the seventh against Freed's Seth Creasy, his third of the season.

Easton Rainer would double in
Alex Frillman who earlier singled in the inning, but the Toppers couldn't get any more.
O'Keefe (3-3) suffered the loss for BMCU, going an inning, giving up four runs on two hits.
BMCU (19-10, 4-5 SSAC) returns to SSAC play Friday and Saturday at home in a three-game series against Faulkner, scheduled for 6 p.m. CT Friday and 1 and 4 p.m. CT Saturday.
