MOBILE, Ala. – No. 1 seed Mobile eliminated No. 8 seed Blue Mountain Christian Men from the SSAC Championship Tournament here Thursday, getting a clean sheet 3-0 victory to end the Toppers' season.
The Rams would get their first goal at the 46:59 mark after a 0-0 stalemate in the first half, as Zacharia Hasler put his team up 1-0, unassisted.
Mobile scored again at the 61:22 point when Sebastian Jorgge found the net on an assist from Ivan Jolivet to make it 2-nil.
The Rams got their final goal to finish off the Toppers at the 77:20 mark on an unassisted goal from Joseph McMahon.
BMCU's Alvaro Lopez was credited with three saves between the sticks, while Mobile's Ty Turner would get the clean sheet with two saves.
BMCU finishes the season 4-9-3 overall and 2-5-3 in SSAC play.
