Blue Mountain College

Luke Smith enters his second year as Sports Information Director at Blue Mountain Christian University in 2026-27 and his fourth year working in the BMCU Sports Information Department.

Smith was promoted to Sports Information Director after serving two years as the university's Assistant Sports Information Director. In his current role, Smith oversees the day-to-day athletic communications efforts for Blue Mountain Christian Athletics, including statistics, gameday operations, sports writing, social media and livestream maintenance. He also serves as a communications liaison between BMCU Athletics, the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

A native of Savannah, Ga., Smith graduated from Blue Mountain Christian University in December 2022 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He joined the BMCU Sports Information Department as Assistant Sports Information Director in early 2023 before later being promoted to Sports Information Director.
