Blue Mountain College

Brett Fowler is in his first year as Assistant Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at BMCU.  A native of Blue Mountain, Fowler earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from the University of Mississippi in 1998.

Fowler has been awarded the Southern States Athletic Conference's Sports Information Director of the Year twice, with his first coming in 2017-18 and his second in 2019-20.

He has served as a deacon for 24 years and serves as Sunday School Director at Blue Mountain Baptist Church in Blue Mountain where he and his family are members.  Brett and his wife, Joanna, have one son, Brian (19), who is a sophomore at BMCU.  They also are the proud parents of a five-year old Maltipoo, Darlea, and two-year old Tuxedo Cat, Oreo.
