Palm Harbor, Fla.- Blue Mountain Christian Women's Golf wrapped up play at The Invite at Innisbrook on Tuesday, finishing eighth in a competitive 13-team field at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club.
The Toppers carded rounds of 316, 318 and 314 on the par-71, 5,998-yard course to finish with a three-round total of 948 (+96). 
BMCU saved its best team round for Tuesday, closing the tournament with a 314.
The field featured five teams ranked in the NAIA Top 25, including No. 3 Dalton State, No. 10 Southeastern, No. 12 Truett McConnell, No. 15 Pikeville and T-No. 25 Coastal Georgia. 
BMCU finished ahead of both Pikeville and Coastal Georgia in the final team standings.
Ansley Pratt led the way for the Toppers, finishing 20th individually with a three-round score of 230. 
Pratt opened with a 77 before shooting 78 in Monday's second round. She closed the tournament with her best performance, firing a 75 Tuesday for the lowest round by a BMCU golfer during the tournament.
Karla Frutos finished 29th with a 235. 
After opening with a 77, Frutos carded a 76 in the second round to sit at 153 through Monday's 36 holes. She finished with an 82 Tuesday.
Morgan Dabbs placed tied for 35th at 238. 
Dabbs began the tournament with a 78 before an 83 in the second round and responded with a strong final round, shooting 77 Tuesday.
Erin Porter finished tied for 47th with a 247, improving throughout the tournament with rounds of 84, 83 and 80. 
Kayla Shaull rounded out the BMCU lineup in 54th at 251, highlighted by an 81 in Monday's second round.
"I was proud of the way our ladies competed in a really strong field," BMCU Head Coach Kevin Barefield said. "We had some good stretches of golf over the three rounds, and I thought we did a nice job of finishing the tournament strong today. Playing against this type of competition gives us a good opportunity to see where we are and what we need to continue working on."
No. 3 Dalton State captured the team title at 870, while No. 10 Southeastern finished second at 880 (+28). No. 12 Truett McConnell placed third at 924.
BMCU finished just one stroke behind seventh-place Spring Hill and five strokes ahead of ninth-place Reinhardt.
