Toppers fall to Bethel on the road

McKenzie, Tenn.- Blue Mountain Christian women's tennis was on the road Tuesday for a nonconference matchup against Bethel University in Tennessee, where the Toppers fell 7-0.
Bethel claimed all three doubles courts to take the early advantage.
Camila Mordiz and Eugenia Ramos battled on the top court before falling 6-1, while Lina Cetina and Lucia Garcia were defeated 6-2 in the No. 2 doubles position. 
Kiersten Terris and Nami Malyaporn rounded out doubles play with a 6-1 result on court three.
In singles action, Mordiz turned in one of the more competitive performances of the day, dropping her match 6-0, 6-4 on the top court. 
Ramos fell 6-1, 6-0, and Cetina pushed her opponent deep before falling in a match tiebreaker, 10-4. 
Malyaporn and Garcia each battled through 6-0, 6-3 decisions, while Terris was defeated 6-0, 6-0.
Blue Mountain Christian will look to bounce back in its next outing.
