Montgomery, Ala.- The Blue Mountain Christian University women's tennis team continued play at the SSAC Roundup in Montgomery, Alabama on Friday morning, facing the University of Mobile Rams. 
Despite competitive moments throughout the lineup, the Toppers ultimately fell 7-0 in conference action.
In doubles play, the Toppers battled but were unable to secure a point. 
Camila Mordiz and Eugenia Ramos competed closely on the top court before falling 6-3. 
Lina Cetina and Lucia Garcia matched that score on court two, dropping their match 6-3. 
Nami Malyaporn and Kiersten Terris rounded out doubles competition on court three, falling 6-2.
Blue Mountain continued to compete throughout singles play against a strong Mobile lineup. Mordiz fought hard on the No. 1 court, falling in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. 
Cetina battled in her match as well, dropping sets of 6-1 and 6-4.
Garcia faced a tough opponent on court three, falling 6-1, 6-0.
Malyaporn competed on court four, falling 6-2, 6-2, while Ramos dropped her match on court five by scores of 6-0, 6-3. Terris completed the lineup on court six, falling 6-0, 6-1.
The Toppers will continue conference play at the SSAC Roundup as they look to build experience and momentum against strong conference competition.
