Kansas City, Mo.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the 2025-26 NAIA Scholar-Athletes for winter sports.
Each semester, the NAIA Scholar-Athlete list celebrates student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.
The honor recognizes student-athletes across each winter sport, including basketball, bowling, competitive cheer, competitive dance, swimming and diving, and wrestling.
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and attend their institution for at least one full year.
This year, six Blue Mountain Christian University student-athletes earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition for their exceptional hard work in the classroom and in competition.
"We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes for the commitment they have shown to excellence in every area of their lives," said BMCU Director of Athletics Curt Fowler. "What they have accomplished reflects the true mission of Blue Mountain Christian University Athletics — developing young men and women into more than just successful athletes, but into leaders in the classroom and in life. Their discipline, character, and dedication represent our university extremely well."
