Montgomery, Ala.- Blue Mountain Christian University women's golf graduate student
Ansley Pratt has been named the SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week following her individual championship performance at the CBC Fall Invite.
Pratt helped lead the Toppers to a team championship while capturing the individual title with rounds of 78 and 76, finishing with a two-round total of 154.
Her performance secured the top spot on the individual leaderboard and played an important role in BMCU claiming both the individual and team championships.
In her first season with Blue Mountain Christian, Pratt has wasted little time making her presence felt. The graduate student transfer has quickly established herself as a valuable addition to the women's golf program, bringing experience and consistency to the Toppers' lineup.
Her individual victory at the CBC Fall Invite marks an impressive accomplishment early in her BMCU career, as she continues to make an immediate impact on the program.
Head Coach
Kevin Barefield praised Pratt for her contributions to the team and the experience she has brought to the program in her first year.
"Ansley has been a tremendous addition to our program, and I'm really proud of the way she has come in and made an immediate impact," Barefield said. "As a graduate transfer, she brings valuable experience and maturity to our team, and you can see that in the way she approaches the game. Winning an individual tournament is a great accomplishment, but what makes it even more special is that she helped our team bring home a championship as well. She's worked hard to put herself in this position, and it's exciting to see her recognized by the conference."
Pratt's recognition adds another highlight to her first season in Blue Mountain as the Toppers look to build on their success as they look ahead to their spring season.
