Blue Mountain, Miss.- The Lady Toppers showed incredible pace and composure this morning, racing to a first-place finish as hosts of the Topper Trails College Classic.
It was a strong field featuring seven teams and 54 individual runners in the women's 5000m race, but the Lady Toppers made their presence felt early and often — placing multiple runners inside the top 12.
Kaedyn Wilson continued her standout freshman campaign, placing second overall with a time of 19:30.32. Veteran Aubrey Britt added another top-five finish for the Toppers, clocking 20:34.20 to finish fourth.
Harley Garner crossed the line in ninth place (21:09.66), while Elsie Wilbanks finished close behind in 11th (21:47.05).
Freshman Macy Bain impressed with a 16th-place finish (22:12.15), and Jorja Kate Mooneyhan rounded out the Topper scoring in 18th (22:25.57) — giving the team six finishers inside the top 20.
With a strong blend of freshman promise and veteran leadership, the Lady Toppers continue to shine this season — showcasing depth, discipline, and unity on their home course.
