Hattiesburg, Miss.- Blue Mountain Christian Women's Golf placed eighth overall at the Carey Collegiate presented by Walk-On's this week in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
It was a competitive field of NAIA programs, and the Lady Toppers had several strong individual rounds.
Morgan Dabbs led the way with a two-day total of 241 (79-86-76) to place 27th overall.
Petrone Rudolph followed close behind in 32nd place with rounds of 82-78-83—243.
Kayla Shaull put together a steady performance to finish in 36th place with a total of 248 (89-79-80).
Erin Porter closed her tournament on a high note, carding a final round 79 to place 41st overall at 258 (87-92-79).
Abby Moore rounded out the Topper lineup in 44th place with rounds of 87-92-87—266.

Kevin Barefield was encouraged by his team's effort against a tough field.
"This was a strong tournament with some of the best NAIA talent in the region. I was proud of the way our girls stayed focused and competed both days. We'll take what we learned here and continue to build on it moving forward."
