Oxford, AL- The Blue Mountain Christian women's cross-country team opened the 2025 season on a strong note, securing a 9th-place finish at the Foothills Invitational.
Freshman standout Kaedyn Wilson, tabbed by the SSAC as a runner to watch, set the tone for the Lady Toppers with a 40th-place finish, crossing the line at 19:26.9. Fellow freshman Elsie Wilbanks showed promise as well, placing 43rd with a time of 19:36.6, adding even more young talent to the lineup.
On the veteran side, senior Aubrey Britt once again provided reliability with a time of 20:22.7, while another senior, Harley Garner, followed closely behind at 20:38.
With the combination of experienced leadership and promising newcomers, the Lady Toppers will look to carry their momentum into the Southern Showcase on September 12th.
