Oxford, AL- The cross-country season is officially off and running for the BMCU men's team, as they turned in a strong performance with an 8th-place finish at the Foothills Invitational.
Sophomore standout Jonah Barnhardt led the way for the Toppers, placing 33rd overall with a time of 16:12.2 in the 5k race. Andrew Ayala followed close behind, finishing 37th with a solid mark of 16:23.6.
Lukas Dykes clocked a time of 16:44.4, while transfer Daniel Äikäs was just steps behind, finishing in 16:44.6 to round out a tight pack for the Toppers.
With a mix of young talent and experienced runners, the BMCU men's cross-country team looks poised for a successful season ahead.
