Searcy, Ark.- The Toppers, men's and women's track and field teams, travelled to Harding University over the weekend to compete in the Bryan Phillips Invitational.
Abby Laney had an impressive performance in the discus throw, breaking a school and personal record of 29.47m. She finished in tenth place in the discus throw.
Jonah Barnhardt ran with purpose, placing seventh with a new personal record of 16:53.98 in the 5000m run.
Aubrey Britt ran to a fourth-place finish in the 3000m steeple run, with a new personal record of 11:52.98.
Lukas Dykes and Ayala both finished in the top 20 of the 1500m run. Dykes had a time of 4:14.75, and Ayala ran to a time of 4:17.54.
Angel Wright had a strong performance, placing 3
rd in the 400m hurdles.
