NEW ALBANY, Miss. – (RV) Blue Mountain Christian Women dropped in-state foe Rust College 5-2 here Monday afternoon, winning its first match of the young season.
In doubles, Lina Cetina and Annalynn Housley would get a big win on Court 1 to give eventually give BMCU the point, as they defeated Emeline Honfoga and Karley Newell 6-4.
In singles, Lucia Rodriguez Garcia picked up a huge win for the Lady Toppers, downing Newell 6-1, 6-0.
