Danville, Ala.- The Blue Mountain Christian University Men's Cross-Country team earned a strong third-place finish on Thursday evening at the Warhawk Invitational.
Leading the pack for the Toppers in the 8,000m race was Jonah Barnhardt, who clocked a time of 26:26 to place 7th overall. Lukas Dykes followed close behind with a 12th-place finish, crossing the line in 26:55.94.
Gauge Montgomery continued his impressive freshman campaign with a 21st-place performance, finishing in 27:32, while Andrew Ayala wasn't far behind in 24th with a time of 27:44.
Rounding out the Topper scoring was Erick Flores, who placed 43rd with a solid time of 28:58.
The Toppers will look to carry their momentum into the Watson Collegiate Classic on October 17, as they continue their strong stride through the 2025 season.
