Lady Toppers shine in NCAA field at Watson Collegiate Classic

Clinton, Miss.- The Blue Mountain Christian University Women's Cross Country team ran early Friday morning in Clinton, Mississippi, finishing seventh overall in a competitive NCAA field.
Nineteen colleges lined up to race in the early morning, featuring a total of 172 runners at the Watson Collegiate Classic.
SSAC Runner of the Week Kaedyn Wilson continued her outstanding freshman campaign, leading the Lady Toppers once again. Wilson placed 12th in her first-ever 6k race, clocking a time of 22:52.
Harley Garner followed closely behind, running a time of 24:09 to finish 35th overall. Aubrey Britt wasn't far behind, finishing in 24:18 to place 40th in the field.
Ella Shepherd turned in the fourth-best time for BMCU at 26:16 (81st), while Macy Bain rounded out the Topper scoring with a time of 26:35, placing 87th overall.
It was another strong outing for the Lady Toppers, who finished second among NAIA schools in the event — a testament to the program's growing consistency and depth this season.
