MEMPHIS, Tenn. – (
Results) The Blue Mountain Christian Outdoor Track & Field teams returned to action this weekend at the Rhodes Invitational, hosted by Rhodes College.
The Topper teams went up against several NCAA DI programs, along with DII and NAIA programs.
The Lady Toppers saw some PRs recorded at the event, as
Katie Meeks posted a time of 19:29.09 in the 5000m Run, and
Harley Garner also set a PR in the 5000m at 19:44.95. Meeks finished 37
th and Garner was 39
th.
On the men's side,
Will Porter continues to best his own school record in the 5000m Race, as he shattered his school record from just two weeks ago by posting a time of 15:39.91 at Rhodes, 16 seconds better than his previous. Porter would finish 25
th.
Dawson Boyd would also PR in the 5000m, clipping in a time of 17:13.15 in 53
rd place.
