DANVILLE, Ala. – (
Results) Blue Mountain Christian Women, the defending SSAC XC champs, finished the 2024 season here Friday at the 6K SSAC Championship in fourth place with 91 points.
William Carey would take the team title with 45 points, and Carey runner Blanca Conesa was the individual champion in a time of 22:44.40.
Leading the Lady Toppers was
Harley Garner who finished with a top ten finish in ninth place in a time of 23:33.47, while
Aubrey Britt finished 11
th in a time of 24:02.84 and
Emma Ruffin was 12
th in a time of 24:07.46.
Garner, Britt and Ruffin would all be named SSAC All-Conference for 2024.
After the race, the SSAC handed down its year-end awards. BMCU was named the Sportsmanship Award winner and garnered numerous other awards listed below.
