MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Blue Mountain Women's Tennis clinched a spot in the 2023 SSAC Championship Tournament by upsetting No. 11 William Carey Saturday on the second day of the Montgomery Roundup.
The Topper ladies kicked off Saturday morning with a bang, defeating the Crusaders 4-3 in an exciting event that lasted 4.5 hours.
The outcome would be decided on Singles Court 4 that saw
Annabella Natalini push her team to victory with a 7-5, 7-6 (8) win over Carey's Nina Westkamp.
In the afternoon event, No. 7 Middle Georgia State would get the shutout 5-0 over the Toppers.

BMCU finishes the regular season Receiving Votes (RV) in the NAIA Top 25 at 9-7 overall and 2-4 in the SSAC. The ladies clinched the No. 6 seed in the upcoming SSAC Championship, and will play No. 3 seed Loyola April 27 at 1 p.m. at Lagoon Tennis Center in Mongtomery, Ala.
