Results) Blue Mountain Christian Women and
Will Porter made their appearances here Friday at the 2023 NAIA National Championships, as the women ran the 6K and men ran the 8K.
The Lady Toppers would finish 31
st in the nation with 832 points, as College of Idaho won the team title with 68 points.

Catherine Truemper would have a solid finish in the pack of 333 racers with a Top 100 result, crossing the line in 84
th in a time of 23:24 to lead Blue Mountain.
The six remaining Lady Toppers raced to post-250 spots with freshman
Harley Garner coming in at 250 in a time of 24:58.8.
Will Porter represented Blue Mountain Christian in the men's race, earning the spot after qualifying at the SSAC Championships.
Porter had a solid finish in the 8K, eventually finishing 140
th in a time of 26:33.2.
Porter would use a big surge midway through the event, climbing all the way from 262 on the lead kilometer to make an impressive showing.
"I'm so proud of our kids and all they have accomplished to get here," BMCU head coach Phillip Laney said. "This is as big as it gets, and we proved we belong among the best teams and individuals in the nation. This is an extremely tough course and I thought we did an outstanding job. It's been a great season, and we believe the best is still yet to come for Blue Mountain Christian Cross Country."
